A big Florida wide receiver will arrive in Knoxville on Tuesday afternoon and will camp with the Vols that evening and Wednesday.

Dr Phillips High School wideout Chris Gallon confirmed with InsideTennessee.com on Monday night that he is indeed headed to Rocky Top.

"Yes, sir, I will arrive in Knoxville Tuesday afternoon," Gallon said. "I'm very excited about going to Tennessee, to visit their campus and get to know their coaching staff a lot better."

Being an overnight camp, Gallon will get a chance to stay on campus at Tennessee and camp with the Vols on Wednesday.

This will be Gallon's first visit to Knoxville; the Florida native appears to be looking forward to his trip.

"Tennessee is a good football program," Gallon said. "All of their coaches seem like father figures, Coach Dooley makes you feel that way."

Gallon, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound athlete who runs the 40 in 4.5 seconds, currently has offers from Bowling Green, Memphis, Colorado State and SMU.

Would Gallon consider committing to the Vols if he receives an offer during camp?

"I would say there would be a 50-50 chance I could commit on the spot," Gallon said. "We will just have to see. Tennessee is definitely one of my top favorites."

There are two Vol coaches that have stood out the most to Gallon.

"Coach Hinshaw and Coach Thompson has really recruited me the hardest," Gallon said. "I look forward to meeting them this week."
