Martin spent over six hours on the UT campus Saturday, mostly getting to know the Vol coaching staff a whole lot better.
"Last time I just got to meet a few of the coaches," Martin told InsideTennessee.com on Sunday morning. "I got the chance to meet every coach, support staff and assistant on the coaching staff this weekend. Everyone told me how much I was needed in Knoxville."
Martin has made the two-hour trip from his hometown of Greenville, S.C., to Knoxville several times, and this past trip appears to have continued putting the Vols in great shape for Martin's services.
"Tennessee is way out front," Martin said. "By a big, big margin."
Martin acknowledged that he loves Tennessee, but also admitted he wasn't ready to pull the trigger on his commitment just yet.
"I will make my final decision before my senior season begins on August 28," Martin said. "I will probably have a public announcement naming the school of my choice."
Martin has been making several new friends on the UT campus, including incoming freshman Da'Rick Rogers.
"I got a chance to visit with Da'Rick a lot," Martin said. "He is doing well; he really likes it a lot. He really likes the coaching staff a lot."
Martin feels that he is beginning to build some solid relationships and friendships at UT.
"I feel a lot closer to his coaching staff after Saturday's visit," Martin said. "I'm building a great and solid relationship with them already."
Martin made the trip to Rocky Top on Saturday with his father and little brother.
"They like it a lot, too," Martin said. "It feels like home."
