The Lady Volunteers will open the tournament with a 4:30 p.m. ET showdown against Big 12 foe Oklahoma on Friday, before taking on No. 13 Florida State and the host Cougars the following day at 11 a.m. ET and 8:30 p.m. ET, respectively.

The preseason Southeastern Conference favorite, Tennessee will be looking to continue its success from last weekend when it swept through its competition with ease at the Comcast Lady Vol Classic.

The Big Orange christened the season with a three-set triumph over Xavier last Friday night before downing Chattanooga the following morning. It then took out Virginia Tech on Saturday evening to claim the tournament title.

Senior Nikki Fowler took home MVP honors from the competition for the second straight season, while fellow classmate Leah Hinkey and sophomore DeeDee Harrison joined her on the all-tournament team.

Tennessee will be on the road again next weekend when it makes the trek to Athens, Ohio, to compete in a tournament hosted by Ohio University, Sept. 10-11. The Lady Vols will square off with Northwestern, Ohio and Pittsburgh before returning home to open SEC play against South Carolina at 7 p.m. on Fri., Sept. 17.
