After state semifinal playoff wins this weekend, four 2012 Texas A&M commits will be playing for state championships next week at Cowboys Stadium.
On Friday night 2012 commit Trent Momon returned a kickoff 99 yards for a game-winning TD that gave Hempstead a 21-14 win over Tatum. Trent amd Hempstead (13-0) will face Melissa (12-1) on Thursday night at 8 pm at Dallas' Cowboys Stadium for the Class 2A Division I state championship.
On Friday night 2012 commit Michael Wilson was again a blocking force for an Aledo offense that rolled up 513 total yards (318 rushing. 195 passing)in Aledo's 68-28 win over Corsicana.
Aledo (13-2) will face Manvel (15-0) on Saturday at Noon at Dallas' Cowboys Stadium in the Class 4A Division II state championship.
On Saturday afternoon Trey Williams rushed for 227 yards and 6 TDs (13, 9, 42, 20, 9, 6 yards) on 31 carries in just over 3 quarters of play to lead Spring Dekaney to a to a 56-19 Class 5A Div II state semifinal win over Mansfield Timberview at Round Rock ISD Stadium..
Before this year, Dekaney had never made the playoffs or won more than 7 games. Now they are one win away from the state championship.
Trey and Spring Dekaney (13-2) will face Cibolo Steele (15-0) next week at 8 pm at Dallas' Cowboys Stadium for the Class 5A Division II state championship. Cibolo Steele is the defending state champion and returns to the state championship game after defeating Port Arthur Memorial 51-31 on Saturday afternoon at Houston's Reliant Stadium.

On Saturday afternoon Bralon Addison rushed for 219 yards and 5 TDs (42, 1, 66, 2, 5 yards) and completed 5 of 10 passes for 108 yards and 1 TD, Leading Fort Bend Hightower to touchdowns on their first 8 possessions of the game, enroute to a 54-35 Class 5A Div I state semifinal win over San Antonio Madison at the San Antonio Alamodome.
Bralon opened the scoring with a 42-yard touchdown run that made the score 7-0 Hightower. Bralon scored on a 1-yard run on Hightower's next possession to give Hightower a 14-7 lead. After Madison tied the game at 14, Bralon scrambled 66 yards for a touchdown that gave Hightower a 20-14 lead. After Madison tied the game at 20, Bralon scored on a 2-yard run to give Hightower a 27-20 lead.
After leading Hightower to a 41-27 halftime lead, Bralon and Hightower mounted a 98-yard drive to open the second half consuming almost half the third quarter, with Bralon scoring his 5th TD of the game on a 5-yard run to give Hightower a 47-27 lead. Late in the third quarter Bralon threw a 36-yard touchdown pass that gave Hightower a commanding 54-27 lead.
Bralon and Fort Bend Hightower (13-2) will face Southlake Carroll (15-0) next Saturday at 4 pm at Dallas' Cowboys Stadium for the Class 5A Division I state championship. Southlake Carroll came back to defeat Dallas Skyline 28-24 on Saturday.
