Aggies Welcome Hoops Visitor

The Texas A&M coaching staff is taking the first steps to filling a void at the guard position, hosting Findlay Prep guard Amedeo Della Valle on an official visit. The Italian native arrived on campus on Monday and will be in attendance for Tuesday's game versus Kansas State

With the mid-term loss of guard transfer Jamal Branch and the loss of senior Dash Harris to graduation at the end of the season, a guard-depleted Texas A&M team is in desperate need for a point guard and shooting guard in the spring signing period.

The coaching staff is taking the first steps to filling the void, hosting Findlay Prep guard Amedeo Della Valle on an official visit. The 6-foot-5, 180-pound Italian national arrived on campus Monday and will be in attendance for Tuesday's home finale versus Kansas State on senior night.

This is Della Valle's first official visit and he plans to take several more trips before making his decision. He is scheduled to visit Arizona on April 13 and is still considering overtures from California, Gonzaga, St. Mary's, Michigan, and Ohio State.
