Roberson Granted Medical Hardship Waiver

Injured in an early season contest in 2011, Texas A&M forward Kourtney Roberson missed a large majority of the 2011-2012 season and filed for a hardship waiver to get his sophomore season back. That waiver was granted Thursday and Roberson will be reclassified as a sophomore next season.

COLLEGE STATION-Texas A&M forward Kourtney Roberson has been granted a medical hardship waiver by the Big 12 office and will have three seasons of eligibility remaining, it was announced Thursday.

Roberson-a sophomore from Arcadia, La.-appeared in nine games for the Aggies this winter, averaging 4.6 points and 4.9 rebounds, before suffering a season-ending injury against Rice on Dec. 22.
