The Texas Aggie football team continues to surge in recruiting after the latest round of summer camps. According to internal sources, Garner verbally committed to the Texas A&M staff during a Thursday morning unofficial visit.
After de-committing from Texas Tech last week, Manvel(TX) cornerback Tavares Garner and his father attended camps at LSU and Texas before meeting with the Aggies on Thursday. The opportunity for early playing time at College Station and playing in the SEC were too enticing to pass up.
The Aggie Websider will have more details when Garner returns from today's visit.
