FS/Return specialist talking official visits

Caught up with the father of Curtis Williams II (Arlington Sam Houston) and he said his son has had a very busy summer thus far.

Going to various team camps, putting some money in his empty pockets, working out and playing 7-on-7 has his son on the go.

Next on the summer agenda has Williams tripping to the state 7-on-7 tourney held at Texas A&M in College Station.

Scholarship offers: Kansas and Tulsa.

Future camps: Arkansas, North Texas and SMU.

"He won't be able to make all of those as some of them are on the same day," Williams' father told TheInsiders.com. "But we'll see what we can do."

So who's in the running to land the state's No. 96-rated player for the all-important official visit?

"Although it's subject to change, Williams is mulling over these schools: Kansas, Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Nebraska and Florida."

"He made both the Notre Dame and Baylor camps, so he's already seen them up-close," Williams continued. "But if they were to step up with offers, I think Curtis would definitely look at taking a couple of official visits to both of those schools."

Stay tuned...
