Head coach Kevin Sumlin and the Texas Aggie coaching staff have parlayed their 2012 success in the SEC into recruiting gold in class of 2014. On Thursday, that momentum reached forward to the 2015 class as former FSU commit Jordan Davis visited Texas A&M today and committed while returning home according to several sources.

The 6=foot-4, 250-pound athletic tight end from Clear Lake (TX) caught 20 passes for 338 yards and two touchdowns as a sophomore. But it was his elite performance at last weekend's Texas A&M summer camp that garnered Davis a quick scholarship offer, and he wasted little time taking that offer.

Davis becomes the first member of the 2015 class and he's projected as the top junior tight end in the lone star state next season.
