Texas A&M Director of Athletics Eric Hyman announced suspensions to Deshazor Everett and Floyd Raven Sr. after the two defensive backs served nearly a month away from team activities and fulfilled other assigned responsibilities.
The two Aggie football players were initially suspended in July due to a violation of athletics department policies. Hyman said that Everett now will serve a half-game suspension, while Raven will be suspended for a full game.
Texas A&M opens the 2013 football campaign on Aug. 31 at Kyle Field against Rice, with kickoff scheduled for noon on ESPN.
