Catcher Mitchell Nau and right-handed pitcher Parker Ray were named to the Perfect Game Summer Collegiate All-America Team as recently announced.
Nau, who was named the Texas Collegiate League Player of the Year, and Ray were both named to the Summer All-America Second Team.
Nau hit .350 with six home runs with 39 RBI for the Acadiana Cane Cutters this summer, his second consecutive season as a TCL All-Star.
Ray posted a 4-0 record and 1.69 ERA for the TCL champion Brazos Valley Bombers. He went 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA with 17 strikeouts in 10 innings during the Bombers' playoff run.
As a sophomore, Nau appeared in 42 games, including 34 starts for the Aggies. He hit .218 with six doubles, two home runs and 22 RBI.
In his junior campaign for the Aggies, Ray went 2-1 with a 1.73 ERA with a .213 opponent batting average and 44 strikeouts in 67.2 innings.
Also, A&M JUCO signee G.R. Hinsley set a Texas Collegiate League record with 55 RBI's in leading the Brazos valley Bombers to the league title.
