COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M Aggies play their three-game Maroon & White Series, the championship series that caps off the team's annual Omaha Cup competition, on October 23-25.
The Wednesday and Thursday contests both start at 3 pm and Friday's game starting at 6 pm. All games are slated for seven innings.
As has become tradition under head coach Rob Childress, the Aggies are competing internally for the Omaha Cup, a staple of the Texas A&M baseball culture. This fall, the roster was separated into the Farmers and the Plowboys.
The starting pitcher match-ups have been set for the series. Wednesday's game will feature Daniel Mengden (Farmers) and Parker Ray (Plowboys). Corey Ray (Farmers) and Grayson Long (Plowboys) face off on Thursday. The series will wrap up with Hayden Howard (Farmers) and Matt Kent (Plowboys) taking the mound on Friday.
The rest of the Farmers roster includes Ryne Birk, Krey Bratsen, Kaylor Chafin, Jason Freeman, Kaleb Goodell, Cole Lankford, Patrick McLendon, Hunter Melton, J.B. Moss, Logan Nottebrok, Ty Schlottman, Troy Stein, Gandy Stubblefield and Andrew Vinson.
The Plowboys roster includes Blake Allemand, Nick Banks, Nick Choruby, Mark Ecker, Ronnie Gideon, Ryan Hendrix, Rex Hill, G.R. Hinsley, Jason Jester, Patrick Michon, Jonathan Moroney, Mitchell Nau, Jace Statum and Ty Stubblefield and Logan Taylor.
The Aggies are coming off a 34-29 season and extended their school-record streak to seven consecutive trips to the NCAA Championship in 2013.
