Kevin Sumlin and the Texas Aggie football staff got on the board in the 2016 class when highly-touted offensive line prospect Patrick Hudson committed before attending a scrimmage during the Friday Night Lights event in College Station on Friday.
The 6-foot-6, 330-pound massive lineman is considered by most analysts as one of the top two OL's in the state of Texas in 2016 who's considered a potential 5-star prospect. Hudson joins Allen OL Greg Little as the consensus top two blockers in the 2016 class. Little is also considering the Aggies.
Hudson joins 2015 verbal commits Trevor Elbert and Connor Lanfear to form a strong core of future linemen set to enter the Texas A&M program in the next two years. All three OL's are considered to be consensus Top 20 prospects in Texas.
