Riley Garner, a 6-foot-3, 215-pound outside linebacker from College Station (Texas) A&M Consolidated has been on a hot streak, but that streak was even more impressive with a Thursday offer from the SEC.
"Coach Kevin Sumlin just called and offered," explained the Class of 2015 linebacker prospect from just up the street from the shadow of the Aggies' stadium.
A&M makes seven offers for Garner who also reports scholarships from schools such as Rice, Colorado, Utah, Texas State, North Texas and Fresno State.
Recently he has also seen his interest spike from schools like Iowa State, Arkansas, Missouri, Houston, TCU and Oklahoma State amongst others.
As a junior in 2013, Garner racked up 110 tackles, 12 sacks and an interception to earn 14-5A First Team All-District honors.
He is rated as a Scout.com three-stare prospect, the No. 45 outside linebacker recruit nationally.
