Camp News & Notes: Tuesday 8/16

The Texas A&M Aggies are heading into the heart of their camp and Aggie Digest has the latest as head coach Kevin Sumlin and staff continue preparations for the upcoming season.

The Texas A&M Aggies were back out on the practice fields again Tuesday afternoon, a day after spending most of the practice in the rain. Tuesday brought much lighter precipitation, just a drizzle falling mostly, but heavier contact as the media was granted a rare extended viewing period at the start of Tuesday's practice.

The Aggies continue to work and develop everything from the starting line-ups to who will man the special teams units. The majority of the open period Tuesday showed the work going into special teams as well as a glimpse of what the first and second team offense is looking at.

The Aggies are just over two weeks out from their season opener with UCLA in Kyle Field and with scrimmages scheduled for both Wednesday and Saturday in Kyle Field, most of the decisions are likely to be made by next week.
