Texas A&M easily handled a visiting New Mexico State team in the unofficial "Aggie Bowl". The 52-10 win in Kyle Field moves the Aggies to 7-1 on the season and keeps them right in the hunt for the College Football Playoff.
After the win, head coach Kevin Sumlin met with the media and discussed the win. He spoke a lot about the value of getting young players into the game in feature roles in the game to gain valuable experience for down the road. Sumlin also talked specifically about the job his players did of filling in for injured starters in the win.
