SERIES HISTORY: OU leads the all-time series with A&M, 11-10, dating back to 1903; Texas A&M, lead by freshman QB Reggie McNeal, derailed OU's national title hopes last season after beating the Sooners 30-26 in a stunning upset at Kyle Field.

OF NOTE: OU holds the No. 1 spot in all national polls and firmly sits atop the BCS rankings. OU's winning streak of 11 games is currently the nation's longest.

KEEP AN EYE ON: OU junior defensive end Dan Cody -- named the Big 12's Defensive Player of the Week last week. Cody leads OU with eight sacks, 14 tackles for loss and 16 quarterback hurries.

SIDELINED SOONER: OU running back, 220-pound senior Renaldo Works, has a bruised back and won't play Saturday. Works has rushed for 698 yards and eight touchdowns on 132 carries.

FRESHMAN EN FUEGO: Aggie Redshirt freshman running back Courtney Lewis is a leding contender for Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors. Lewis ranks No. 4 in the conference and No. 30 nationally in rushing yards with 868 and 11 touchdowns on 144 carries. Among national freshmen, Lewis leads the nation in rushing touchdowns and ranks No. 2 in total rushing yards and No. 4 in rushing yards per game.

T-MURPH LEADS THE NATION: A&M junior Terrence Murphy leads the nation in kickoff return average at 32.1 yards; Murphy became Texas A&M's all-time fifth leading receiver last week with over 100 career catches. He is the first junior in school history to hit the century mark.

COACH FRANCHIONE ON OU: "I've been watching film last night and today. There aren't any apparent weaknesses. You earn every inch of yardage you get against these guys."
