After a disappointing and difficult season for Texas A&M fans, a grass-roots effort to support the football team has been organized by students at Texas A&M. The plan is to provide a loud and very visible send-off for the football team at the airport as they leave College Station to travel to their final away-game against Missouri.
Aggie fans are being encouraged to show up at Easterwood Airport in College Station on Friday at 1:15 pm, as well as to line the streets surrounding the area.
One of the most cherished traditions at Texas A&M is that of the 12th Man -- the students' willingness to stand throughout the game, always ready for the team if needed. The 12th Man apparently remains alive and well in Aggieland.
