Richardson Berkner DT Trey Bryant

Trey Bryant, the 6-2, 300-pound DT out of Richardson Berkner high school, adds two more schools to his resume of offers.

Along with an offer from Baylor, Bryant received paperwork from BYU and SMU this week bringing the total of in-hand offers to three.

BYU may be a surprise to many, and to Bryant as well, but the Cougars signed his Berkner teammate B.J. Mathis, a speedy slot receiver who had nearly 2,300 all-purpose yards, this past February. So there's some familiarity...

SMU, on the other hand, is not much of a surprise and is one of many schools in Texas expected to pursue the heavily-sought after DT.

Updated schools of interest?

"Baylor, SMU, BYU, A&M, Kansas State, Kansas, LSU," the state's No. 56-rated prospect said.

Bryant told TheInsiders he's been "getting tons of mail" and "it's been pretty exciting around here". He's also an MSLCombines invitee and will make either the May 22nd (Saturday) or May 23rd (Sunday) camp at the SMU campus.

For more information on the MSL combines, go to or simply click here. Kids planning on attending either the April 3rd or 4th Houston camp or the May 22nd or 23rd SMU Dallas camps, contact Stacey Dean via his email address which is, if you have any difficulties registering.

You MUST pre-register or you will not be able to participate. There will be no last-minute walk-ups. If you're not yet signed up, you're missing out on the most realistic NFL Combine-like event, including the NFL HRT test (NFL aptitude/psyche test) soon-to-be NFLers take, not to mention every drill the NFL Combine puts on and perhaps the most exciting aspect -- position-specific instruction via former/current NFL coaches and/or players. Are you ready to take YOUR game to the next level?
