Denison RB Looking At Texas A&M

Denison RB Corey Robertson is a prospect to keep an eye on, no doubt. Kid is currently holding offers from one Big 10 and Big 12 school. Meanwhile, he's seriously looking at four programs today.

"I'm lookin' at Texas A&M, Arkansas, Iowa and Oklahoma State right now," Robertson who has offers from Iowa and Baylor said.

The lack of mentioning the Longhorns makes his recruitment rather interesting when you consider the fact that his older brother Chris Robertson actually played a couple of years at UT before transferring to UH...

"I'm actually considering everybody," said the Texas Hot 100 RB prospect before adding, "but not Texas. That's just not one of the schools I considered even before Chris went there."

But he is in fact giving the rival Texas A&M program hefty consideration...

"I like their offense," Robertson said. "Also, I went down there for their game against Texas last year. And they have a very nice atmosphere. The crowd is just awesome. I was shown around then and just felt comfortable there."

The Ags, however, have yet to offer...

And Oklahoma State?

"I talked to their coaches and they said they don't need the fastest running back but they need one who isn't slow either and, a ' back who can carry the ball 20-30 times a game. That's me."

"They have a powerhouse offense. That's what I like. That's what we do at our high school. I think I fit them and what they do really well."

"They run the ball. And you can run it behind that big OL they got. They just seem to have an experienced and well-coached OL that is good at reading defenses and making their blocks in their I-back offense with their zone blocking schemes. Just seems to be working well for running backs there."
