Oklahoma DL Has Texas A&M Ties

If you're looking for defensive line depth, Stillwater DE Russell Brorsen is a prospect to monitor. He has one Big 12 scholarship and with a senior season to play, there could be more offers on the horizon. So who's he looking at?

At this point, the Jayhawks have stepped up and have the early lead...

"Kansas is a good school," Russell Brorsen said. "I took a visit down there, the coaches took me around the campus and they're the only school I've been to that the coaches have been that nice. They act like they really want me."

The Stanford wrestling department is showing interest while their football program is also beginning to show some...

The 6-4, 230-pounder tripped to a Texas A&M one-day camp in July and he has some ties to that particular Big 12 program.

"I'm really interested in Texas A&M," Brorsen said. "That's one of the teams I grew up rooting for and half of my family has graduated from there. In fact both my mom and dad graduated from A&M."

TAMU cornerbacks coach Chris Thurmond is the recruiting coach for Brorsen's area and told the Oklahoma DL that they'd like to make it out to one of his games...

Other schools in he'd be interested in hearing from include both Tulsa and Oklahoma State.
