Nic Harris Takes 2 Officials, Remaining 3 Set Up

Alexandria, Louisiana FS/OLB prospect <b>Nic Harris</b> has his five official visits set up, having already taken two of those to Oklahoma and Texas A&M. He talks about all of the above and more below...<p>

"I went to Oklahoma when they played U of H (September 10-12) and went to Texas A&M when they played Clemson (September 17-19)."

Thoughts on his official to Norman?

"I enjoyed the atmosphere, meeting Coach (Bob) Stoops, the players, coaches, and I just really like their tradition of winning."

Thoughts on official to College Station?

"I enjoyed it a great deal -- the atmosphere, facilities, players, Coach Fran. I just like the tradition they have, their student body, the coaches..."

In addition to the officials he took to A&M and OU, Harris said, "I'll go to Michigan (vs. Michigan State) October 30th, LSU (vs. Ole Miss) November 19th and Nebraska (vs. Colorado) November 26th ."

Let's the meet the coaches responsible for landing Harris:

-- Texas A&M assigned Aggie assistant head coach/wide receivers coach Kenneth Pope with the task of landing the 3-star Louisiana prep.

-- OU counters with Sooner recruiting coordinator/defensive ends Bobby Jack Wright.

-- Michigan associate head coach/running backs coach Fred Jackson heads up the recruitment of Harris for the Wolverines.

-- LSU tasked Tiger defensive backs coach Kirby Smart with the responsibility of bringing in the Alexandria HS senior who plays both ways (WR on offense, FS on defense).

-- Nebraska, meanwhile, has Husker wide receivers coach Turner Gill working Harris.

Of those five ongoing relationships, Harris said that right now the three coaches he is most comfortable with at this time are with: "Coach Pope (A&M), Coach Wright (OU) and Coach Smart (LSU)."
