Spring in Aggieland

The pace picks up over the next few weeks in College Station, TX, as several big happenings are scheduled on the maroon and white calendar. The following events promise to give the Aggie faithful a solid dose of Texas A&M sports this spring.

Spring Football Practice - Phase 2
March 28, 30, 31; April 2 (scrimmage), 5, 7, and 9 (Maroon and White game) on Practice Field/Kyle Field. Admission is free.
Practices begin at 3:45 pm and are open to the public (controlled and monitored). Visitors are required to put their name on the practice list before attending. Practice hotline: 979.458.2939.

Texas A&M Football Coaches Clinic
Friday – Saturday, April 1 – 2pm at Bright Football Complex. $40.00 admission.
The event includes lectures, social outings, meals, and gifts. Sessions consist of video tape viewing, chalk talk with position coaches, drill with Aggie coaches, and Aggie practice attendance on April 2 (scrimmage). Baseball vs. Kansas
Friday, April 1 at 7pm; Saturday, April 2 at 7pm; Sunday, April 3 at 1pm at Olsen Field.

Fan Appreciation Autograph Party, Kids' Clinic
Saturday, April 9 from 9:30 – 11:45am at G. Rollie White Coliseum and Kyle Field. Admission is free.
A free poster and spring game roster will be available for signing from 9:30 – 11am. Each autograph seeker will be limited to one item. Players will hold a free clinic for kids inside Kyle Field, from 11:15 – 11:45am.

Maroon and White Game
Saturday, April 9 from 2 – 4pm at Kyle Field. $5.00 admission for adults. Free admission for students and children.
Coach Dennis Franchione hopes to draw 50,000 fans for this annual event. The lower decks of Kyle Field and the The Zone will be open for the game, and The Fightin' Texas Aggie Band will march in during pre-game and perform at halftime.

Softball vs. Iowa State
Saturday, April 9, 5pm at Aggie Softball Complex.

Men's Tennis vs. Texas Tech
Saturday, April 9, 6pm at George P Mitchell Tennis Center.
