Goodson: Camp Agenda, Who Leads & More

Klein Collins RB Michael Goodson was at the Greater Houston Area Combine and Scout.com was there to catch up with the Lone Star State's Preseason Texas Top 100 No. 1 prospect.

With everyone in the country seemingly after the 5-11, 185-pound running back you can bet hearing who stands out at this point in time as the favorites to land the all-word running back is in fact what recruitniks want to know...

"I'm still open right now," Goodson said. "At the top, I still have it A&M, USC and OU."

With the Greater Houston Area stallion able to catch passes and return kicks/punts as well as he can take a pitch, find a seam and blow by the secondary for a take-it-to-the-house TD-run, who stands the best shot of climbing into his short list of faves with the Aggies, Trojans and Sooners?

"LSU and Miami," Goodson revealed.

After that, it's anybody's guess. However, the State's No. 1 threw out a few more teams off the top of his head: "Iowa, Missouri, Auburn and Florida…"

Camp Agenda: "I'm not sure. I don't think I'll be hitting any (team) summer camps."

That said Goodson does have one special camp penciled in on his list and that's the Scout.com All-American Combine in Waco, May 22nd, a Sunday. Goodson likes his chances to wow the Scout.com brass and earn not only a U.S. Army All-American nomination but also the ultimate prize – a U.S. Army All-American selection. Who can blame him? After all, the game is nationally televised on NBC and it's a one-week, expense-paid trip to San Antonio. The best of the best in the Big State of Texas will be there…
