"Ever since that combine I have been getting a lot more mail than I was," Gaines said. "Two of the schools that have really picked things up are Florida and Texas A&M who are two of my favorites."

The 6-foot-2, 203-pound Gaines runs the 40-yard dash in 4.62 seconds and plans to attend the Scout.com combine at Baylor.

"Right now I would say that Florida is my top choice, I just really like everything about them," Gaines said. Texas A&M and Oklahoma State are probably tied in there at No. 2. I also like Michigan a lot and they are definitely in there."

Gaines lists the Aggies as one of his leaders and has already familiarized himself with the Aggie program.

"I went to their junior day a few weeks ago and it was real cool," Gaines said. "I saw all the new facilities and they were really impressive. I got to talk with coach Fran and their linebackers coach and they were real impressive guys."
