There were several last minute confirmations for the Scout.com combine and none may have been better than Detron Lewis of A&M Consolidated of College Station, Texas. He showed up at the camp and proved why he is one of the state's top wide receivers.

There were several last minute confirmations for the Scout.com combine and none may have been better than Detron Lewis of A&M Consolidated of College Station, Texas. He showed up at the camp and proved why he is one of the state's top wide receivers.

"I already have an offer from Oklahoma State," Lewis said. "I am getting a lot of interest from other schools like Texas A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma, Arkansas and some others. I think Texas A&M and Oklahoma State are recruiting me the hardest."

The 5-foot-11.5, 183-pound Lewis ran a 4.53 second 40-yard dash and a 4.16 second shuttle.

"I really like some of the schools that are closer by," Lewis said. "I really like Texas A&M because I grew up around and I am very familiar with it. I also like Oklahoma State a lot, they are a program on the rise and I like the coaches there."

As a junior Lewis caught 62 passes for 973 yards and 10 touchdowns en route to a first team all-district selection and honorable mention all-state.

"I'm not in a hurry to make a decision," Lewis said. "I just want to make sure that I check out the right schools and find the right place for me."
