Does A&M lead?

The Lone Star State is loaded at many positions this year, however, one of them is not linebacker. So far any top player at the position is going to come tons of interest as is the case with Desoto's Von Miller.

The Lone Star State is loaded at many positions this year, however, one of them is not linebacker. So far any top player at the position is going to come tons of interest as is the case with Desoto's Von Miller.

"I have offers from Baylor, Texas A&M, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and Ole Miss," Miller said. "I am hearing from a lot of other schools out there too."

Miller oddly enough does not play linebacker for his high school team and depending on who signs him, he may not play there in college either.

"I have schools that are recruiting me as a linebacker and some that like me as a defensive end," Miller said. "I kind of prefer defensive end just because I'm familiar with it, but I would definitely be cool with playing linebacker."

The 6-foot-2, 211-pound Miller accumulated 38 tackles, seven sacks, forced 19 hurries and one quarterback sack.

"Texas A&M, LSU, Ole Miss, Florida, Miami and Florida State are my top schools right now," Miller said. "I really liked Texas A&M when I went there for their junior day. They showed me a lot of things."
