"The only one that I have gotten in the last couple of weeks is from Arizona," Mendoza said. "There are some other schools that could be close too."
One of Mendoza's favorites, Texas A&M, has yet to offer, but that doesn't mean he won't get one eventually.
"That is the only school that I have been to this spring so far," Mendoza said. "They told me that they have been talking about me and for me not to worry that I am definitely one of the guys at the top of their list. They said their process is slower than most schools in terms of getting offers out there to running backs."
Mendoza missed three games due to injury as a junior and still rushed for 657 yards and 10 touchdowns while earning second team all-district honors.
"My list of favorites are still the same as it has been," Mendoza said. "I plan to worry about my season and then make a decision."
