Last month after the Scout.com combine at Baylor we told you that Harker Heights, Texas wide receiver Nick Trice would start to see the offers roll in during the May evaluation period, once coaches had a chance to evaluate him in person.

Recently he picked up his first offer from Oklahoma State, but now he has impressed an in-state school enough to earn a scholarship offer.

"I went to a camp at Texas A&M this weekend and they offered me on the spot," Trice said. "They had come to my school last week and told me that they were real interested, but that they wanted to see me this weekend in person."

Trice played football at Heidelberg American in Germany his freshman and sophomore year, where he was one of the top players in Europe. After transferring to Harker Heights as a junior, Trice tore his ACL in a pre-season game and had to sit out his junior season.

"I think that the camps I have gone to have helped me to get exposure," Trice said. "I think that coaches know that my knee is okay now and they can see what I can do."

While Trice is certainly pleased with his second offer, he says that it doesn't really change things a whole lot.

"I'm still open to everyone that is interested in me and I was always looking at A&M so it doesn't really move them up," Trice said. "There are several other schools that are supposed to come by in the next few weeks and I'm interested to see where it leads."
