"I have offers from Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Arizona, Baylor, Kansas State, Ole Miss and Oklahoma State," Jones said. "Those are the ones that I have in writing in my hands. My coach said he has gotten several more in the mail, I just haven't gotten them from him yet. I'm pretty sure that one of them is Michigan State."

The 6-foot-6.5, 250-pound Jones ran the 40-yard dash in 5.28 seconds, the shuttle in 5.03 seconds and had a 30-inch vertical jump.

"Texas A&M is my leader," Jones said. "It's close to home, I know people there and they have been recruiting me harder than anyone."

So far Texas, LSU, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Northwestern, Houston, Texas A&M and Colorado have stopped by Lamar to check out the talented lineman.
