The Aggies (9-3, 5-3) rushed for 244 yards against the Longhorns (9-3, 6-2), whose run defense ranked number one in the nation coming into the contest. A&M quarterback Stephen McGee scored on an eight-yard run with less than three minutes to play, cinching the game for the Ags.
Texas quarterback Colt McCoy tossed three interceptions in the game before being carted off the field with 20 seconds remaining.
Texas A&M's defense shut out the Horns in the first half; but Texas took a 7-6 lead in the third on a six-yard touchdown run by Jamaal Charles. The Aggies bounced back to convert four first downs on the final drive, including a 14-yard run by McGee before a game-sealing touchdown run.
