Texas A&M dominates Oklahoma State

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- In a Big 12 battle between two ranked teams, Texas A&M manhandled Oklahoma State, 67-49 Saturday night in front of a record-breaking sold out crowd in College Station.

Texas A&M senior guard Acie Law scored 16 points, leading the No. 8 Aggies to a 67-49 win over the No. 12 Cowboys in front of 13,187 fans at Reed Arena.

A beat up Antanas Kavaliauskas, who was forced to sit out twice due to injuries, notched 14 points. Joseph Jones added 13 points in the effort.

The victory was the 11th Big 12 win in a row for Texas A&M (16-2 4-0, Big 12), also a school record. The Aggies have won nine straight games.

Texas A&M, who never trailed in the contest, held Oklahoma State (16-3 2-2, Big 12) to its lowest score of the season. The Aggies have held their opponents to the second-fewest points in the country.

Oklahoma State cut the lead to 40-37 early in the second half, but never managed to overcome a stifling Aggie defense. JamesOn Curry lead the scoring for the Cowboys with 20 points, and Mario Boggan added 11.

Texas A&M is the only team undefeated in Big 12 play. The Aggies face Texas Tech Wednesday night in Lubbock.
