First look at Montana State

With opening kickoff just over a week away, not many fans know what to expect from Montana State next weekend, but Aggie Websider is the first publication to take a look at the Bobcats. AW's Dallas Shipp visited with the Bozeman Daily Chronicle's Tim Dumas on Thursday, who will be covering the Bobcats for the fourth year in 2007 about what A&M fans should expect next week at Kyle Field.

Heading into next week, Montana State still doesn't have a starting quarterback named and they have yet to scrimmage in full pads, but they do have talent at linebacker.

I had a chance to visit with the Bozeman Daily Chronicle's Tim Dumas this afternoon and he said the Bobcats have a talented defense, which is their only hope of staying in the game against A&M.

He did add that the Bobcats don't have much of a down field threat at receiver, so expect to see lots of short to intermediate passes.

But with a new head coach and an unnamed starting QB, there's more questions than answers heading into next week's match up.
