Mark Turgeon and the Aggie basketball team continued its momentum on Monday with the verbal commitment of 6-foot-8, 210 pound power forward David Loubeau from Tampa's Westlake Prep.
Loubeau is a power forward who can stroke the mid-range jumpers and was considered one of the top forwards in the nation for the class of 2009. However, after looking over his transcripts, Loubeau has agreed to graduate early and will reclassify to the Class of 2008 and sign a letter of intent this November, putting him on campus as a freshman for the 2008-2009 season.
