Franchione responds to rumors

Aggie Websider is reporting live from the Tuesday media luncheon to bring you the latest news on the Franchione rumors and what the Aggies are doing to prepare for this weekend's match up with No. 6 Missouri.

Dennis Franchione responded to the media's questions about Monday's rumors surrounding him and Texas A&M working on a buyout agreement.

Q: WILL YOU TALK ABOUT THE RUMORS THAT SURROUNDED YOUR STATUS YESTERDAY?
Franchione: I'm not going to get into the rumor game with you guys. I'll sit here as long as you want to to talk about the Missouri game. There are no facts to that and I'm not into it. I know you guys have to deal with it and you have your work to do, but I'm a non participant in it.

Q: CAN YOU TALK ABOUT YOUR TEAM AND WHAT THEY SAID ABOUT YESTERDAY?
Franchione: They've kind of gotten used to the climate. I talked to some of them last week and they said has anything changed and I said no.

I think a couple may have asked Alan after they heard on ESPN.

Q: DO YOU EXPECT TO BE THE COACH HERE NEXT YEAR?
Franchione: Let me say this one more time. If you want to talk about Missouri and the game, I'll sit here with you guys. That is not my concern at this time. My concern is getting this team ready to play at 11:30 on Saturday.
