Just three days after his visit to Oklahoma State, San Antonio Madison WR Nate Askew took a visit to College Station to meet with the A&M staff. Askew's visit was followed by a short drive back home and then a sit-down talk with his parents. Shortly after his talk he called up Coach Cromwell and committed to the Aggies. "I liked A&M from the beginning. I felt it was the right place to be." Askew wants to be apart of the reemergence of Texas A&M football and he wants to be remembered as one of the best wide receivers to play at Kyle Field.
"I picked the school that is rebuilding, I want people to remember Nate Askew when I leave."
Tom Rossley was Askew's recruiter and met with Tom when he arrived in Aggieland. They both met up with Coach Sherman and spoke about A&M's future.
"Coach Sherman told me that all he needed was a couple of recruiting classes and A&M will be back."
Nate plans on attending the A&M camp on July 12th and he is excited to get back and get to know the players.
"Oh man me and Jeff Fuller, it's over!"
