White House Wide Receiver Favors A&M

Trey Metoyer talks to Aggie Websider's Taylor Hamm and gets an update on his recruiting process...

Trey Metoyer is on Mike Sherman's "watch list" for 2011. The White House High School wide-out stands 6 foot 2, 185 pounds. Trey has two early favorites including Texas A&M and Oklahoma State.

"I really like A&M a lot", Metoyer said. Trey was impressed with the A&M facilities and has already made it to one camp this summer, with another one on his schedule in July .

Trey has plans to attend the state 7-on-7 tournament in July and the the A&M camp a few days later.

Metoyer impressed the A&M coaches his first trip out and had the opportunity to catch passes from a future Aggie quarterback.

" Jameill Showers and I got to know each other a little bit. He threw to me the entire camp. Jameill is a great quarterback, we had good chemistry."

Trey Metoyer caught 66 passes for 1,039yrds and 13 touchdowns his Junior season. The A&M coaching staff is in a great position to land another talented wide receiver in 2011.
