The 2011 recruiting class is filled with talents like Spencer Drango. Drango stands 6-6, 260 pounds and is a force on the offensive line. Drango has potential to be as good as any offensive lineman in his class. He currently has offers from Baylor,SMU, and Stanford.
"If I had a short list right now Baylor would be at the top. It's all up in the air right now. Im real familiar with Baylor's campus and my brother goes there."
Drango has been to a few camps this summer including the Texas camp in May and he received MVP honors at the NIKE Elite camp. Spencer has taken visits to Colorado, SMU, and Rice.
" I thought the Texas camp was pretty nice but nothing about it really got me excited. I think I did alright."
Drango want to take his time with the recruiting process and he plans on checking out any school that shows interest in him. Academics are very important to Drango because he has aspirations to be an engineer.
Drango is best friends with Texas commit Dominic Espinosa and if Texas were to offer him a scholarship, Drango would be very interested.
"A Texas offer would be big."
Spencer was high on Texas A&M and their academics. He liked the campus and wants to make it to one of their lineman camps.
