Aaron Green (SA Madison) is quickly becoming one of the top running backs in the state of Texas. His 5-11, 185 pound frame along with his 4.3 speed is catching the eyes of many elite schools.
"Right now I have heard from USC, OU, Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech. I'm actually in California right now visiting family. I checked out the USC campus and it was amazing.I met with Todd McNair and we looked at film of Reggie Bush and he compared me to him. He showed me how they would use me in the slot."
Recently Green made it down to the Texas camp. "The UT camp went pretty good, I performed well. I really liked Coach Applewhite. Me and him got along real good."
One of the main factors Green will use as his deciding factors is the people surrounding him. Aaron wants to be around good Christian people. Green helps teach Bible study on the weekends with his good friend Andre Williams.
Aaron has many close ties with Texas A&M. His best friend Nate Askew committed to A&M less than a month ago and he has many family members in College Station.
"I love A&M. I'm up there all the time visiting my family. I grew up going to Aggie games and rooting for them. Coach Cromwell played on the same NFL team (RAMS) as my Uncle and ive always been a big Sherman fan"
Green was invited to the Army All-American game in Florida. It hosts the top 10 sophomores in the nation. Green doesn't have anymore camps planned for the rest of the summer.
