It's no secret that the A&M coaching staff wants to round out the 2010 recruiting class with a stud defensive back. Committed to another school or not, A&M continues to recruit prospects like Terrell Reese out of Brenham HS. Reese, who is currently committed to Utah, plays receiver and safety for the Cubs. Terrell picked up an A&M offer on Monday and spoke to Websider's Taylor Hamm.

It's no secret that the Texas A&M coaching staff wants to round out the 2010 recruiting class with a stud defensive back that has all of the intangibles. Committed to another school or not, A&M continues to recruit prospects like Terrell Reese out of Brenham High School. Reese, who is currently committed to Utah, plays receiver and safety for the Cubs. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Reese picked up an offer from the Aggies on Monday from area recruiter, Buddy Wyatt. Terrell is picking up a ton of interest at safety now from other schools and has warmed up to the idea of defense. Like most boys from Brenham, Reese wants to stay closer to home and grew up watching A&M.

"A&M is a good college but I don't know what I am going to do yet. When they offered me, it made me think about things.Coach Wyatt said he has been watching me play all year and he liked how I played."

Reese is open to the idea of playing defensive back.

"Yes sir they want me at corner but it really doesn't matter to me. It doesn't matter what side of the ball I'm on, I just want to play football."

Reese has a big decision to make about his future and he wants to take some time to think it over before signing day.

"With A&M offering I need to think things over. I will probably make my decision a couple of weeks before signing day."

The Brenham native has A&M ties and grew up a fan of the Aggies.

"I grew up following A&M most of my life. Going to games at Kyle Field with my family are some of my earliest football memories. I think it's a great school. I'll probably set up a visit sometime in January."

Brenham High School is currently deep into the state playoffs with Kerrville Tivy High School next up on Saturday. So far this season, Reese has caught 53 passes for 800 yards and 14 touchdowns on offense and 60+ tackles with 3 INT's on defense so far this year. Reese is also hearing from TCU.
