Mister Jones officially committed to Texas A&M tonight when he arrived back in Littleton. The 6-2, 205 pound running back was blown away after his official visit and called Coach Doll to give him the good news around 6:00 Sunday night.

"Coach Doll sounded real excited. He told me he can't wait to get me down here."

"I walked away thinking this is the place. A&M is a perfect fit for me and it's where I want to go."

Jones and Sherman spoke privately before he left College Station.

"We sat down and talked about my situation with CU and what we were going to do with that. He wanted me to get home and go over it with my mom, and then give him a call tonight to let him know the good news."

Jones had a lot of influence from his mother.

"My mom didn't want me to stay close to home. She wanted me to go look at other schools. With Texas A&M being far away from home and them offering me, it just felt right."

Jones reaffirmed that the A&M coaches want him at his primary position.

"The coaches want me at running back. It's the only position I play."

In ten games this season, Jones rushed for 1,317 yards and 18 touchdowns on only 163 carries.
