Who was your host last weekend and what did you guys get to do?
"My brother was my host. We hung out and got to look around the locker room. I met with all of the student teachers and advisers so I could get a better feel for the academic part."
Did you get a chance to talk to any of the other commits there?
"I talked to a few of the commits. I will be playing with some of them in the Army All-American game to, so I am looking forward to playing with them in that game and when I get up to College Station."
What does it mean to you to have the opportunity to play in the Army All-American game?
"It's a big honor to get to play in a game like that. Just looking back at all the guys like Adrian Peterson, Tim Tebow, and all the great players that have played in it before--Seeing what most of them have done and knowing that I will be on that track some day, it's really humbling and a real big honor. I'm just looking to have a good time. I know I will have the opportunity to meet a lot of people and make new relationships and friends. I want to show people what I will be able to do next year at A&M."
What kind of advice does your big brother give you?
"He tells me a lot of stuff especially about football and college and what I need to know when I get up there. Usually when we hang out we talk about stuff we have done and some of our experiences playing-- it's real fun talking to him and learning from him."
How pleased were you with the A&M's progression this year?
"I know they were having a rough season last year. Coach Sherman assured me they were going to turn it around. I know it's going to take time but I was impressed how much better they were this season. Still lost some close ones but there is still a lot of time to improve. I'm looking forward to trying to make my mark there and help the team as much as I can.
What is your mindset going into next year?
"Going in I'm just going to do everything the coaches tell me. Work my butt off and really just try to be the best I can be and do the most to help the team out. I think as long as I keep that mindset and keep working like I have it will work out and benefit me."
Have you had the chance to speak with Coach Turner lately?
"I talked to him on my official visit. I really like him a lot and I am looking forward to learning from him and having him as my coach."
Did your official visit solidify your commitment with A&M?
"Yea, I really feel I have made the right decision. I was really interested in a few schools that were talking to me, but I always kept going back to A&M. I like the feel there, I like how I would fit in there, and I still very confident in my decision."
