The Citadel scored the first four points of the game in the opening 1:01, but the Aggies outscored The Citadel 33-7 in the remaining nineteen minutes of the first half, to take a 33-11 halftime lead.
The Aggies were led in scoring in the first half by Donald Sloan with 10 points, Nathan Walkup with 9, and Khris Middleton with 7.
A key stat in the first half was the Aggies outrebounded The Citadel 19-7, led by David Loubeau with 5 and Bryan Davis with 4.
The Texas A&M onlsaught continued at the start of the second half, scoring the first seven points to open up a 40-11 lead three minutes into the second half.
The Aggies led by as many as 33 point midway through the second half and cruised to a 71-50 win.
For the game, Donald Sloan led the Aggies with 16 points. Nathan Walkup added 12 points and Chris Middleton 11.

The Aggies held The Citadel to 33% shooting, just 24% from 3-point range, and A&M outrebounded The Citadel 38-20.
Bryan Davis had 9 rebounds and 3 blocked shots for the Aggies, while David Loubeau added 8 rebounds and 1 block.
Citadel junior guard Cameron Wells from Houston led all scorers with 28 points but was the only Bulldog to score more than 10.
Texas A&M now travels to Seattle to face the Washington Huskies on Tuesday night.
