2nd Half Dooms 'Runners
The 1st half saw a bit of a spark from the 'Runners. Head Coach Brooks Thompson tinkered the line-up a bit, starting both point guards, Devon Agusi and Keon Lewis. For the game the Broncs finished with 8 3-ptrs to UTSA's 4 treys. The glass was owned by UTPA 19-5 in the 2nd half and 39 to 22 for the game. UTSA cut the deficit to 8 points near the 5 minute mark but wouldn't pull any closer. Keon Lewis would lead three 'Runners in double digits. He finished with 16 pts on the strength of 9 of 11 free throw shooting. Jordan Sims and Devon Agusi both finished with 10 each. Now the 'Runners (0-4) turn to Texas A&M Corpus Christi who will travel to the Convo for a 2:30pm afternoon tip on Saturday afternoon. UTSA is still looking for it's first win on the season.
