A look at some of the key stats in UTSA's 26-23 loss to Arizona on Thursday night.

- UTSA was 3 of 4 in the redzone, the only misfire coming on a 26 FG attempt early in the 4th quarter. That turned out to be the difference.

- After committing 14 penalties week one, UTSA trimmed it down to 6 penalties for 54 yards.

- The Roadrunner offense was just 3 for 12 on third down conversions. Another bad week for third down conversions.

- QB Tucker Carter was 22 for 33 for 228 yards and a touchdown. All of those numbers are career highs.

- TE David Morgan caught his third career touchdown pass when Carter hit him for a 10 yard score. Morgan caught 5 passes for 76 yards. The 5 receptions was a career high number.

- Arizona Freshman RB Nick Wilson rushed 30 times for 176 yards. The 176 yards is an opponent rushing record.

- RB Jarveon Williams surpassed 100 total yards for the second consecutive game. Williams amassed 102 all purpose yards on Friday (34 rushing, 7 receiving, and 61 kick off return.)

- There was only one turnover in the game, an Arizona interception on a Carter flip-pass late in the fourth quarter that would seal the victory for the Wildcats. Carter called that pass "a dumb choice."

- The Hard Hat Defense answered the call when Arizona entered the redzone. UTSA held Arizona to 4 field goals on 5 trips into the redzone.

- UTSA really slowed things down and kept Arizona's fast-paced offense relatively tempered. The 'Runners won the time of possession battle 33:04 to 26:56.

- For the second straight game, UTSA rushed more times than they passed: 39 to 33. But the 'Runners were only to net 121 rushing yards, a 3.1 yard per carry average.

- Backup QB Austin Robinson saw action int he first half and second half. Robinson rushed twice for 8 yards on both of his plays from scrimmage.

- RB Brandon Armstrong had a good debut to the 2014 season by amassing 37 total yards on 3 rushes and 4 receptions.

- DT Ferrington Macon and DE Jason Neill each recorded a sacks. Neill added another tackle for a loss.

- UTSA's loss snaps a 6 game winning streak.

- The attendance of 33,472 was the 5th largest in program history.
