Game Balls (La Tech)

The InsideRunnerSports staff hands out Game Balls for the Louisiana Tech game.

UTSA fell to Louisiana Tech on Saturday. Despite the loss, there were several players who played well. We hand out our Game Balls for the La Tech game.

Offensive Game Ball: RB Jarveon Williams

For the second straight week, the San Antonio area native earns our offense game ball for exceptional performance. Williams certainly made the most of his opportunities. He again surpassed 100 all-purpose yards. One of the bigger plays of the game came on a run to the right where Williams had nothing, but found his way to the left and scampered for 39 yards. On the day, Williams rushed 10 times for 73 yards and caught 2 passes for 35 yards.

Defensive Game Ball: LB Drew Douglas

LB Drew Douglas had another good game in the middle of the field for the Hard Hat Defense. As a unit, the entire defense played extremely well. Individually, Douglas totaled 6 tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss, and had a pass breakup.
