Kansas State Game Balls

InsideRunnerSports hands out our game-balls for UTSA’s 30-3 loss to Kansas State.

UTSA vs Kansas State Balls:

Offensive Game Ball – WR Aaron Grubb

WR Aaron Grubb quietly had a career-game Saturday vs K-State. The Lavernia-native had a career-high nine receptions for 48 yards. Grubb was one of the lone bright spots on the offensive side of the ball as he became QB Blake Bogenschutz’ favorite target. Grubb’s nine receptions tie the program-record that TE David Morgan set last week vs Arizona. His 48 yards also tie his career-high in receiving yards. For his exceptional performance, Grubb earns our offensive game ball.

Defensive Game Ball – LB Drew Douglas

LB Drew Douglas had good game vs the Wildcats. The DFW-native led the Roadrunner Hard Hat Defense by flying around the field all day long. Douglas ended up leading UTSA with eight total tackles (6 solo, 2 assist). Drew also had two tackles for a loss, including a four-yard sack. His two TFLs tie a career-high. For his exceptional performance, Douglas earns our defensive game ball.
