Time and time again this season, UTSA has struggled offensively to start games only to come on late. Last week UTSA jumped out to the lead first, however, they were unable to take advantage of very good field position on their first two possessions of the game. In order for UTSA to be successful, they’ll need to come out and play well from the get go.
UTSA’s best opportunity to win comes when the defense is flying around forcing turnovers. The Hard Hat D has shown they’re capable of forcing multiple turnovers and making big plays. UTSA may need that type of performance to get them over the hump.
Brush Away Any Distraction
There have been several off-the-field issues surrounding the program over the last week. None of those issues matter once kickoff happens. Players and coaches will need to put all of that aside and focus on the execution of their game plan because that will be the only thing winning and losing will come down to.
