Game Balls for the UTSA game vs ODU presented by Pat Clynes and The Fritz Kennel

UTSA fell to 1-5 on the season with a tough 36-31 loss to Old Dominion. But a couple of players had good individual performances. We hand out our InsideRunnerSports game balls brought to you by Pat Clynes and The Fritz Kennel.

Offensive Game Ball: WR JaBryce Taylor

Wide Receiver JaBryce Taylor was a consistent offensive threat for UTSA on Saturday. The East Texas-native caught 7 passes for 85 yards including a 31 yard pass from RB Tyrell Clay that setup a touchdown. Having emerged as one of UTSA’s best receivers this season, Taylor’s physical nature has set him apart from others.

For his exceptional performance, Taylor earns our offensive game ball.

Defensive Game Ball: CB Trevor Baker

Corner Back Trevor Baker was UTSA’s best Defensive Back vs Old Dominion. The Senior out of California played very well. He recorded 4 tackles, including 1 for a loss. He also had two pass breakups and 1 interception. The interception stopped what looked like to be a ODU scoring drive. Generally, Baker blanketed his receiver and gave up very little in the game.

For his exceptional performance, Baker earns our defensive game ball.
