UTSA has parted ways with Larry Coker, their first-ever football coach, multiple sources told InsidRunnerSports.com Tuesday morning.
The story was first reported by Football Scoop.
Coker, a two-time national coach of the year and National Championship winner at Miami, was hired at UTSA in 2009. His record at UTSA was 26-32 in five seasons.
Just last year, Coker signed a contract extension that slated him to coach through the 2018 season.
UTSA has not confirmed Coker’s departure.
